What is Digital Smile Design?
The revolutionary Digital Smile Design system is a unique treatment planning tool that allows us to show you the predicted results of your treatment. Other dental providers may use certain aspects of digital imaging or software but most do not offer a full solution like Digital Smile Design as we do at Gartside Street Dental Lounge.
After taking a 3D scan of your mouth we talk to you to gain an understanding of your smile aspirations this will allow us to draw up a fully costed treatment plan detailing the exact treatments we suggest to achieve your perfect smile.
As we take a 3D scan of your mouth at the start of the process we are able to plan for any issues that may arise during the treatment

The Process
Initial consultation - we will take 3D photos and videos of every angle of your mouth with our digital scanner, this information it then imported into our revolutionary Digital Smile Design software.
Your personal smile design - after completing a facial assessment and dental aesthetics analysis, we’ll create both 2D and 3D mock-ups of your smile, showing you what your new smile will look like once the treatment has finished.
Digital planning - all the information from your smile design is transferred to 3D images which allows us study your oral anatomy and plan the treatments you require to achieve your new smile.
Your new smile - we send the information from our virtual mock-up to our laboratory, where a 3D model is printed and clear casts are created to make a mock-up that can be placed in your mouth. You will be able to see the difference your new smile will make instantly. At this part of the process we can also adjust the treatments required if necessary.
Your personal treatment plan - finally before we start the treatment we will provide you with a full treatment plan which includes your initial photographs, any clinical discoveries and your smile analysis.
Your treatment - we can now start the treatment and begin your journey to your new smile.
